The Sibling Transformation Project is an anti-ableist organization of siblings of disabled people, grounded in anti-oppression and collective liberation.

Ableism impacts our whole families, both from the outside and between family members.

We come together to make meaning of our experience of ableism and develop the grounding to transform our own lives, our family systems, and our communities.

We endeavor to identify how ableism shows up in issues like housing, health care, and employment, as well as how it intersects with racism, sexism, and homophobia/transphobia.

We create a caucus space by offering affinity groups for siblings of color, disabled siblings, and queer/trans siblings.

Are you an adult sibling to a disabled person? Are you looking for community? Join STP’s Mighty Networks page for connection and conversation. We look forward to welcoming you!

We’ll let you know about exciting upcoming events and share stories about what we’re up to. You’ll also get invited to join us in taking action in our organizing campaigns.
